SAWAI MADHOPUR – TIGER CITY IN RAJASTHAN

Sawai Madhopur is a city in Rajasthan state of India. The city was founded by Sawai Madho Singh I on 19 January 1763, he was the ruler of Jaipur in the 18th century. This city is on the bank of the Chambal River and surrounded by Aravalli ranges. It is a beautiful city having some astonishing views of the hilly mountain ranges. However, the city is famous for the Ranthambore National Park, a major tiger reserve in the country. It is a well-known tourist destination for wildlife lovers and photographers.
